Getting there: The Arlanda Express train connects the airport with Stockholm central station in 20 minutes. A single ticket is SEK 200. Long-distance trains depart from Arlanda’s underground railway station. Flygbussarna airport coaches depart for the city centre every 10 minutes during peak times from terminals 2, 4, and 5. Buses are also available to many other destinations. Taxi rank officers are on hand to guide passengers to different types of taxi, including environmentally friendly eco-taxis, which have a separate queue. A taxi to the city centre costs around SEK 400. All prices subject to change.
Getting around: The centre of Stockholm is best explored on foot and many streets are pedestrianised. There is an extensive metro (T-Banen) system and bus network, and trams run in some parts of the city. A ticket valid for 60 minutes costs SEK 30. Boats connect some of the islands in the city’s archipelago although not all run in winter. Taxi fares tend to be very expensive. Price subject to change.
