The Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden has a rich history, beginning with a splendid inauguration hosted be King Oscar II in 1893. The hotel was to become the model year-round recreational site, influenced by Monte Carlo. The railway from Stockholm was also built at that time to provide hardworking Stockholm residents with a fast route to the seaside and the fresh salty air of Saltsjöbaden. Nowadays, guests can choose between tennis and golf for recreations, as well as taking a peaceful stroll along the beach. Spa facilities are also found on site, and are available for a surcharge. |

Driving directions from ARL Airport: When leaving the airport merge onto the E4N highway at Junction Märsta-Centrum. At the E20-E4 junction, leave the E4 and join the E20/E4. Leave the E20/E4, and merge onto the 222 at the E4-222 junction heading towards Nynäshamn. Leave the 222 and merge onto the 260. Turn right onto 222. Join the 228 at Junction 222-228 heading towards Fisksätra. Follow straight. Once you have arrived at Saltsjöbaden, follow signs towards the Grand Hotel.
